The laid offs community site started as a pet project for me to vent some frustration after suffering 2 layoffs over the past 5 years. I have created several iterations of the site over time, and has changed the site from from personal blogging site to the current community forum so that others can contribute and share their thoughts as well. I know it can be difficult dealing with a layoff, especially when they come abruptly. Just know that there is a community out here for you to vent your frustration and to support you! You will land on your feet soon!
